Nidia told reporters waiting outside that her daughter "become very emotional and the tears flowed" when she welcomed the little boy into the world, reportedly via Caesarian section.

I agree with you that she could have been much more of a success in the states. I think she acctually could have had a number 1 hit album and single right after Laundry Service. ppl were o thirsty to have more of this mysterious exotic barefooted leather wearing songstress that had she released anothe album in lets say 2003 she would have smashed and if she released in 2008 an album it would have also been huge because of the Oral Fixation hype so like this is how she should have released her english albums!
