Aura opened it - BBQ concept, cool, screamy vocals, plenty of cussing.
MANiCURE was next. I found it
and Gagz was very out-of-it looking.
JnD next. Meh, not my cut of T.
Swine was next - UNBELIEVABLE. She said before she started it's about rape, then had vomit girl from TMB interludes vomit on her as she sang and beat the drums. Then they get on a mechanical bull and shes vomiting on her and they're being jerked around and stroke lights flash on them - a song about rape embodying the situation and feelings... It was incredible to some of us anyway. She shouted f*ck you pop music in anger and rage in the moment.
Dope next, heartfelt, great vocal and transitioned well from Swine.
Country Bad Romance. It was... different.
Applause was next and she sort of shaded the song with "we have to sing this" or something like that. She had Starlight, Semi Precious dude and other New Yorkers on stage for it.
Gypsy closed it, dedicated to the tragedy. It slayed as usual.
Overall it was life-giving for lots of us. But she seemed
very out of it in parts early on which wasn't too comfortable to watch.
