Doesn't mean it couldn't have been another song she was working on. Or that DJWS was just BSing. Gaga also said Sexxx Dreams was supposed to be the lead all along, that it was the song we were going to "**** our pants" over from all the way back in 2012 or whatever. In the end I think there was just no plan at all tbh
Also I'm like 90% sure that Venus was last minute because it just magically seemed to happen after she started performing Applause and getting into her whole "Venus seashell girl" look, which was well-received by all of us, which probably inspired a new song. Literally nothing was planned at all in my eyes. That's the most annoying part of this whole era; we waited years and yet they're literally flying by the seat of their pants
I'm pretty sure it was one of the "squirrels" that snuck onto the ARTPOP tracklist...
