David Guetta offers Phoebe a collaboration
David Guetta in his recent interviews admitted, that one of his favorite at the moment is Phoebe Tonkin. In his interview with some kind of EDM magazine he said that Phoebe's voice is definately worth the attention it gets and her music is super fresh and beautiful. Fortunately, in his latest tweets, David tweeted for Phoebe at least three times, complimenting her music, her voice and her looks, and in the third tweet, Guetta kind of officially asked Phoebe to meet him in the studio to create some amazing magic. Rumour has it that David is recording his new album and he wants Phoebe to be at least on two tracks. Phoebe hasn't replies for David yet, but people thinks she might agree to do that and will meet him in the studio, just like David asked.

Phoebe turns down David's offer and shades him
Today, Phoebe was interviewed by popular music blog in UK - Popjustice - and she revealed everything about her and her music career. Furthermore, when Popjustice mention David Guetta and his offer to collaborate with him for his upcoming new album, Phoebe made a face, shook her head and said that his production isn't exactly for her and she doesn't think it would be the best idea for them to collaborate. "I think his music style is a bit too cheap for me. I mean, some simple lyrics, beat, weak verses and that's it. Plus, I'm not that kind of artist who wants to keep herself relavant by collaborating with DJ's and rappers who really-aren't-rappers time by time. I'm not that type of artist. If I won't be relavant just because I won't do well on the charts, that will be OK, as long as I won't sell out just to get a bigger hit."

Phoebe Tonkin extends her radio deal
Phoebe Tonkin, whose current single Midsummer Days, which sits in second place on the charts at the mont and which is doing amazing on iTunes as well as CAL weekly charts, has just confirmed via Twitter that she decided to extend her radio deal with about 150+ radio stations in US for another week. According to her label, who announced last week that they have signed this kind of deal, the deal makes those radio stations to play Midsummer Days on the top of their playlists, which automically makes them to play Midsummer Days at least one time per hour. This is the last week that this deal will last, and then it will be called off. According to various websites, Indigo Records this deal costed around 300K US dollars.

N I need to keep in mind next week that I really shouldn't postpone my day's schedule. I mean, this whole week I was like 'I'll probably write this article tomorrow/later tonight.' or 'I'll finish writing this article later, I have to eat/watch TV/do something else for a little bit now.'

Wednesday, March 12th Promotion
MILEY COVERS COSMOPOLITAN
Miley Cyrus has been given the honor to cover this week’s issue, a special issue in preparation of Saint Patrick’s Day, for Cosmopolitan. The issue was released today as many Smiler websites have been leaking information/the photo shoot to the the public informed. In the issue, Miley’s album is commended and she also answers questions about love, life, and music. The issue hit stands and the Cosmopolitan website, as Miley comes back to America to promote today.
69 Songs To Help Heartbreak
In the issue, sixty-nine songs were selected by the Cosmopolitan Editorial team to help their readers get over a crummy Valentine’s Day. Two of Miley’s songs, “Bitch Like That (with Lindsay Lohan)” and “Where Was the Love?” were selected to be featured in the issue.
What was it like making the record?
Making ‘My Truth’ was very challenging. The entire process took about a year, as I started writing some songs and coming up with concepts in 2012. After re-adjusting my look and getting back out there in the public, I met loads of people in the industry and re-connected with many producers, songwriters and all those hard workers. Then in May of 2013 we started hitting the studio and recording. The lead single “Free Falling” was the first fully complete, and I just had a feeling that it should be the lead single. And just a bit before that, Liam Hemsworth and I had split. It was tough to deal with, but the song “Where Was the Love? originated from that. And he did mildly inspire “Fake Diamonds” a bit, which is a song I love. I felt that with the album, I had to talk about being rebellious, embracing life, having fun, facing struggles and dreaming. I just wanted people to feel a huge variety, and of course for ‘My Truth’ to be worth the three-year wait. But I’m excited I got to show the Behind the Scenes with MTV, and ‘The Making of My Truth’ is coming back for a new season very soon!
Did you think Liam Hemsworth was the one?
Of course, we were engaged. He definitely had been such an influence on my life over the past four years and I thank him for all the good he’s done over that time period. But when he cheated on me, I wanted him to know that everything we had was just… a joke to him. He wouldn’t cheat on me if he was serious, and believe me I let him know. We’re alright now though, we talk once in a while if we bump into each other, we’ve definitely moved on.
Are you currently dating anyone?
No, and I won’t be for quite a while. I just don’t feel I have interest in relationships right now, and I don’t plan on dating for quite some time. But sometimes the unexpected does happen, so I guess I’ll never know what happens in the near future.
How does it feel coming back, and what did you do on your hiatus?
I was just cruising around the country really. One week I was in Miami, the next Philly and then San Fran. The only thing different was that I wasn’t promoting. I just took the time off to step back and re-think the whole ‘My Truth’ era. I also started work on my second album with Revolution Records, which will be another major change for me too. I was just living life, kinda strolling around the US doing random sh*t. When I felt like doing some work, I did. But other than that the hiatus was pretty much a migrating vacation in a way. But being back’s great, and I’m totally ready for my tour.
When are we getting tour dates?
Thursday. It’s going to be a huge tour, and a huge show.
Where are you going?
I’m actually going to Hong Kong, Australia, Poland, Lebanon and many big markets. The schedule’s still a bit tight, but I got lots more relaxation time this time around. But it’ll still be extremely global.
What do you plan on achieving with this comeback?
Just to have one of the biggest eras of 2013/2014. I feel like re-releasing this album and continuing on with the era was a huge risk, especially financially. Right now I kinda decide how the label will work for the rest of the year, so the pressure’s on like never before. The pressure to keep a Top Three streak with much competition, the pressure to be more known as an album seller… it’s just a lot of work! And if the people don’t like it, I’ve failed them. Some people say I should move on, others say that I’m making a good decision. But at the end of the day, my feelings are first.
Give some advice.
Go get drunk at a pub if you’re legal this Monday, and get some luck of your own. But seriously, in real life, do what you love. And do not give a **** about how risky it is, or what others may say. Do what’s in your heart.
