I missed the whole Nicki's singing debacle but I'd be more than happy if she left the singing to a minimum. I'm not really here for it but I wouldn't say it's the worst singing I've heard.

If she kept it minimal like the singing in here Tapout verse, that would be great.

Yea Nicki needs training. She knows she can't do effortless runs and stuff like that but she does know how to hold a note. I think her lower/middle register is stronger than her higher notes, but when she belts out a higher note, it doesn't sound terrible but she needs more control. Her voice is the best with songs like High School, Best I Ever Had, What's Wrong with Them(Wayne's song), and a couple others. She knows how to harmonize and all that, so she just needs some cleaning up. Find her strengths and stick with it instead of thinking she can sing anything/anyway and sound great. But to say she's terrible always like some ppl were saying,is a reach. And I think i'm being pretty objecive.

I didn't see anyone say her singing was terrible. I agree with that assessment, though. In short, her voice is naturally strong and emotional but she loses control easily.

Nicki's singing voice isn't bad at all. The issue is that when you hear her sing, it always sometimes sound as if she's trying to sing in one of her voices and I hate that. I love her more when she's singing regularly like in You the Best Remix or all of those behind the scenes filming that was done while she was recording her mixtapes. I don't quite think she needs training because coming from LaGuardia, i'm almost positive that she's had enough training and knows all of that for her voice, not saying more wouldn't be beneficial, I just think she doesn't quite know how to separate the Broadway singing voice from her regular natural sound.

You're right, no one said the word terrible. But, you did say she was mediocre at best and that she was like that relative who's singing we had to pretend to like because they're family. That's still pretty bad.

Hmm..i don't know about her always singing in a "voice". Did you ever see the in studio video of her recording Moment 4 Life? She sounded just like the mixtape days there. A lot of songs have her in a regular voice. What songs do you think are Broadway-like?

This is probably a very unpopular opinion and I may get dragged, but I think Fire Burns had some of her worst vocals to date. Compared to Save Me, she just doesn't sound that great for some reason.

I meant not necessarily in a voice per say but it didn't sound natural if you get what I mean. Like in Catch Me, some parts sound weird but towards the end you can kinda hear how it changes to better fit her natural voice the way it is in You The Best. When I say Broadway-like, I meant like the way people sing on Broadway and the way they sing for a regular every day thing, it's different because of the way they have to project themselves. She sounds like that to me in Marilyn Monroe and some other PF:RR songs but idk maybe that's me. I just need to hear those great vocals from the mixtape days and the flawless Autobiography.

Btw no I didn't hear the recording for Moment 4 Life Let me go find it!
