Wait, you didn't like it? That's odd, the reactions I've read about it is that it has the potential to become something huge and special. Though the first screenplay was written with Spielberg as the director, so I'm thinking we'll see some big changes in the final script/movie.
TDKR really is polarizing, isn't it?

Well it deals with controversies that are semi-relevant today
drone warfare and WW3
, but it's really poorly justified and played out. By the time there's the actual interstellar space travel, it gets to be completely bonkers (and not in a good way).
there's like time travel and chinese robots and aliens that secretly are the chinese robots
There's little logic, a lot of plot points and plot holes are going to be explained by MUH WORMHOLE and MUH BLACK HOLES (which for the record are going to be the most interesting parts of the film), and the emotional climax is so ****ing stupid.
It reminds me a lot of Pandorum, this godawful 2009 space film. If you've seen it and you know the ending, just know that Interstellar's ending feels stupidly similar.
Maybe Matt and Anne will make it interesting, but I really don't see it happening.
