They really are and it's pissing me off. I emailed Mariahdaily and said they need to organize something to protest. I think she should just do another interview with them. I think they're just pissed at her about how the Elvis Duran interview went a few months ago. They're so childish.

Actually it started back in 2005 when Mariah had two interviews in the same day, during the same time. One interview was with Z100 (The Elvis Duran Show) and another interview with another station. Mariah choose the other and it pissed Elvis off. She post-poned her interview with Z100, and when she finally got interviewed Elvis insulted her for choosing that station and not the biggest pop station in the world. They took months to add "We Belong Together". They actually had to get forced to add "We Belong Together", because people were requesting it like crazy. I think they're pissed at Mariah again, and ain't adding "Bye Bye", because she turned down to do an interview with Elvis in March after her interview with him in 2005, and did it in the afternoon instead. Some things we can do are request like crazy on the 9@9 or like you said start a petition. Do me a favor? Please call 1800-242-0100, and request "Bye Bye", and see what they say? I want it to be a surprise.

They were playing Touch My Body at the beginning of its run though, and in fact they did its world premiere, so I thought they were done with all of that ********, up until she did that most recent interview and they were giving her **** and she didn't play along.

Well they played "Touch My Body" in the start of it's run, because they knew they were gonna get insane requests for it, and in fact it did (#1 on their 9@9 for a couple of days.) Not risking getting some major attention for not adding Mariah's comeback single they just added it. Z100 didn't give the world premiere, it was another station. Another thing to mention was that they dropped it too early. (It still had a positive bullet, when they dropped it.)

Not exactly that. But it's the main reason it's "flopping". Z100 is able to give something around 5 million in audience impressions for a moderate hit song.

It can give it as much as 9m more audience impressions, so yes.

AND the fact that Z100 influences every pop station (and some Rhythmic) in the US (and possibly the world) to add a song they added or increase their spins of the song Z100 added or increase their spins off. If Z100 added it, and it had no influence it's as worthless as any random station adding it. (Except it's audience.)

You give Z100 WAYYYY too much credit...they arent that influential to other stations...yes, they have a large audience because of the city they are in, but they do not influence other stations to add music JUST because they added it...havent they picked up all the little disney wanna-be artists? and um...I dont remember the rest of the country jumping on "He said-She said"...

It doesn't work on every song, I'll have to admit that, but ask Paramore, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Sean Kingston, Alicia Keys, and Soulja Boy. Some from the last year. Their songs were either struggling or going really slow until Z100 added, and they all exploded.

Hmm, sorry, but they DO influence other stations. Actually, Z100 and KIIS do that. It obviously doesn't happen to everyone, but it usually happens to big names, and Mariah Carey is one of these.
