I mean how does one work on an album for 2 YEARS and give up on it after 3-4 months ?
I have a feeling a majority of that time was kiing with Tara and recording random stuff over the period. Not to mention she had two albums completely scrapped in that time period.
At least when 4 and Rated R flopped, their singers still released tons of singles, videos and performances.
Gags really wasn't ready for this kind of floppage and the fact that we started the era with that "Lady Gaga is over" video, that was supposed to be some kind of reversed psychology, proves it

Actually I would be fine with abandoning the album only if they would give us a proper explanation of what has happened and what's the plan. I still enjoy ARTPOP and as I've said many times now, it is her best work to date - in my opinion - so it's really hard sometimes to take the critic or to even engage in a discussion where someone is, often rightfully, bashing this era.
NOT atrl ruthlessly forcing me to go to sleep last night because of their crashed server. I was fuming!
