Gag does have more raw talent than Madonna but so what? Celine, Mariah, and Whitney have better voices too but they aren't better artists.

The only strong-voiced diva of recent times that I think had the makings to be a great artist is Xtina. She copied Madonna way too much to pave her own niche though. She went from girlie bubblegum to dirrty to vintage to electro which literally was M's career path

Now I knew we were doing an album. We had fifteen songs demoed and she liked them all. The last song we did was for the movie, A League Of Their Own. Madonna just started singing a melody over and over again into the Shure SM57 microphone while the Mac with Vision was playing strings, organ, piano and a basic rim-shot loop. It sounded really timeless, very nostalgic. I spent all night filling in the verses and the song became This Used To Be My Playground.

She's a bad songwriter and a bad writer in general, she makes loud trashy pop songs, instead of evolving she keeps regurgitating watered down versions of her past hits, she makes bad videos, she screams too much in and out of the studio, her aesthetic is ugly, she's just all around horrible.
