I can actually see what you mean there. But although it kind of sounds like Kesha at first, Pixie follows it up and its like exactly the same voice only it goes a little lower, so it was Pixie singing that too.
Perhaps Kesha recorded a demo or something, often when artists record songs by other artists they adopt a tone that kind of emulates the original writer's. That's pretty common. However I don't believe that she's doing vocals in the song.
Why have I been sleeping on this
