I recently learned that alot of non Americans associate being black with skin tone.
That's why you get so many people on atrl asking how and why Rihanna, Beyonce etc, are black

Brazils alone has like 50 racial categories

Exactly that's why i'm so fascinated in how many of them identify themselves whether they consider themselves white though they take after their more ethnic side. Or how others like adriana lima consider themselves black even though I would have never guessed they were

Well yeah apparently the Light skints have to problem claiming their blackness cause you can see it right there. The darker ones no bueno and if Brazil went by Americas rule then almost everyone would be black.

What makes it even more fascinating to me is if the One drop rule never happened in America then we would have the same racial classifications because on Average African Americans are 17-18% European and that's just on average. Some dark skinned people were kinky hair can even be more European than African.

It's all so interesting to me.
