I generally don't use any ballads, regardless of who it's by. I was depressed for so many years, so the last thing I want to hear is someone singing about heartache, sadness, etc.
Now the party's over
And everybody's gone
I'm left here with myself and I wonder what went wrong
And now my heart is broken
Like the bottles on the floor
Does it really matter?
Or am I just hung over you?
I'm listening to Hungover right now and it's amazing
Now I've got myself looking like a mess
Standing alone here at the end trying to pretend but no
I put up my fight
But this is it this time (this time)
'cause I'm here in the end, trying to pretend
I'm here in the end, trying to pretend
Blow deconstructed is just haunting and beautiful . The song is about rebel and it was conveyed better when it was slowed down
I agree. It is haunting. I love the intro with the solemn piano and build up, but that and Die Young are my least favorite from that album. I think it has do with me not liking Blow(Album version). I only ever used the bridge of it. So, i guess my dislike of the album version carried over to the Deconstructed.
YOU GUYs you took me back to animal era .The most depressing time of my life .. I really used to love hungover ..specially on rainy days sitting by the window
