Eh no, not really.
The pregnancy ruined her promo sch. and the potential WW tour she was supposed to go on. All her singles after BTINH were basically just released without any announcement or promo and if im not mistaken didn't her label say that during 4 they had plans to release singles with huge promo and a huge WW tour and it was going to be one of her biggest eras yet?
The plans were set and were there to make something huge, but the pregnancy did screw that up. However, the pregnancy did bounce her celebrity status through the roof.
Even though 4 was a flop by HER standards even though it sold more than what most pop girls sell it was the album that set THE STANDARD for these other girls as far as quality goes and going the left route when everyone else is going right.
Yes even a few producers (Sean Garrett, Neyo) said it would be her biggest era yet everything was planned ... especially after IASF her popularity was like crazy white & black young & old people were ready to give their $$$. However as she said herself EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON and that's the point of the 2nd in bold section
