Yeah I remember he got a little buzz when he lost all that weight for his role, but I never thought he'd win an oscar
I remember seeing him in a couple of movies like 12 years ago or so but he wasn't acclaimed or anything, I wouldn't even say he was relevant. He got semi-relevant with his band (especially outside the US despite having a Platinum album there). It's still so crazy that he made this kind of comeback. I always thought it was cool that he directed his band's videos though, I like some of their songs (singles) but their albums aren't my cup of tea. He's actually a good singer. He must be a horrible person really cause he has good looks, doesn't age, multi-talented, etc.
