We need to come up with a prospectus (if you will) of some kind and get it to her/her team. They need to hear our ideas. They need fresh eyes/ears. They're too complacent

Seriously this song had an awesome launch. Anyone who disagrees is delusional. The label did a great job. The GP obviously hates the song.

Mariah is so lost. I will not continue to say what she needs to do cause I've gone on my diatribes in this base enough times, but she still has everything and yes age and the amount of time you've been in the game makes it harder but not impossible, Mariah needs the right team (trainers, stylists, producers) and get that ho in shape and order. You're Mine is cute but a weak ass WBT rehash with a horrendous video that continues to make Mariah seem like a desperate MILF wannabe, she needs to stop.
Beautiful as a song is as perfect as it gets, just truly outstanding to me but even the video was ruined by her bimbo persona and I think if that song was handled with better care and image rehaul it would have been the massive summer hit it deserved to be. She's losing touch for real, she needs to stop this old ass boring R&B sound she's been dying to hold onto. The fact she even thought Triumphant was a worthy song to record never mind cut, master, release and give it a video was when I realized how lost she is and how stupid her team is. Where is Benny Medina? Where is LA Reid? Where's anybody that will get her on track for a successful era, she's a legend but she's tarnishing her legacy with this nonsense and she doesn't have to give it up she could very well still be a huge artist even beside the current ones if she just took the right steps.

I agree with most of the thing you wrote... she really is lost and keeps damaging herself. She needs to change and so does her team. She seems to care more about everything but her music.
Honestly, even as a lamb, i'm just getting so sick of her and her persona. Never had i thought i'd feel that kind of way and write it, but that's the way it is.
She's turning into such a joke by posting those stupid tacky half naked photos all on instagram, lip syncing so blatantly,...
I just don't get it what's going on with her....
I'm just so tired and I've always been there for her...
Now, if I as a lamb feel that way, I can only imagine how much GP cares about her and how they see her.

they surely didn't do a great job.
First of all, they wouldn't make such a bad cheesy boring video, they wouldn't send her do radio interviews, who does that?! radio interviews are for artists who are just about to appear on the scene not for someone like mariah, and reach of those radio shows is insignificant.
ituness banner would do so much more than those appearances. who even watches 108 and park, it's not 2005.
i say simpe itunes banner is more effective than all those thing above she did.
And most important - her label wouldn't let her do BET show where she shamelessly lip synced and put her boobs on the plate!
everything is a mess! she's a mess to begin with and so ih her team!

There's a rumour circulating that more remixes are coming on twitter. Does anyone know if this is true?
Plus the good sis debuted on the airplay charts.

Everything you mentioned has been her decision though . She wanted to go to the rainforest so she did. She approved of the video. She chose Trey to be on the remix etc. As for BET honors she chose what to wear and chose to lip sync the end. The label has nothing to do with any of what you said and the label won't control her because she would probably up and leave. Mariah doesnt like to be controllled. And yes we need LA Reid, his contribution to EOM lead to WBT and ITL being created

I love Mariah but I don't like this song (and that video ) and I was hoping I would since I didn't like the one with Miguel. She needs to really get focus again, but Mariah can relax to be honest, she has nothing to prove. Stay home and take care of your babies lol. I do agree with the poster that says she need to be age appropriate now. I know the sexy look is her thing but she getting too old for that imo.

The song is classic Mariah (sounding...), but WHERE is the promo!? They are asking for this song to flop with the effort their putting in right now. Mind you, the song isn't mind blowing, but it should have a higher peak on airplay by now.

If she doesn't change things up soon, musically, then she can kiss goodbye to any success she hopes to achieve.
She's not gonna be the one to BRING BACK R&B. Sure, during the 90's she could of changed the game, but these days, the r&b lite/rehash tracks aren't winning her fan base over, let alone the general public.

oh, is it really?
recently she said label ddn't want to release migrate and they practically made her release IWKWLI. That definitely sound svery controlling to me, when label does something artist doesn't want. Remember TMB vs That Chick situation?
No, we don't need LA reid. Yes, he was helpful BACK THEN. I repeat: BACK then, in 2005. Just like majority of people she worked with used to be good and cool but they are irrelevant these days and don't make good cool music anymore. And this song kind of proves that, she's stuck with the old dated sound (kind of).
Look at beyonce, she practically found brand new producer who did the most of her work. When on earth will mariah and will she ever.
There's so many job to do.

Not making any excuses for Mariah but ultimately her label has to approve too. So on both ends, everyone's dropping the ball. Clearly there's a whole lot of IDGAF going on.

Mariah needs to release this album and let it flop (go), she needs to find another label and another team around her, change her sound and her look because she accepted living in a bubble, and nobody respects her out of that bubble. she doesn't have to do impossible songs to do live, do POP, girl, with modest vocals and a melody that slays
obviously what I ask is very difficult, and I doubt it, because I see that Mariah has no enthusiasm to do all those things, and it's sad....

oh and Mariah .. stop writing ALL your songs, seriously nobody cares if you write or you sing or... whatever, so take it easy and look for some hits.

The dramaticking in this thread is unnecessary tbh.
Those of you who claim that she isn't releasing good music really are kidding yourselves. Mariah has released some of her most critically acclaimed music in years. Are we seriously forgetting #Beautiful? Even TAOLG saw praise she hadn't seen since TEOM. I really don't get why people are being so influenced by chart performance. Yes, some times Mariah's music can sound alike, but when you were out since 1990, some of your music will sound similar.
However, YM(E) doesnt even have the same format as any song she's released in a while. It only has one verse, a prechorus and a chorus. Is that similar to WBT? The only thing people can say is similar is her signature going off towards the end of the song.
Let's separate what she's doing musically from what she and her team are doing promotion wise. Yes, they have not properly promoted this song and there appears to be little plans to do so as of this moment. Why did they decide to release something and only promote it in the first 10 days or so? I have absolutely no idea.

People do care. It's her brand. It's her legacy. At the end of the day, even when her chart success and singing fades away, it's her words that will be eternal. She opened many doors being a female writer and producer. Let's not pretend that we have many female - hell people - who sing, write, and produce. It's important to her.
