The media backlash against Gaga is so forced and extra. It just feels like a giant bandwagon against her. She doesn't really deserve it. The main issue with ARTPOP has been her sense of direction & image, but is that really a reason to treat like she came out of a scandal that ruined her career?
She looked great at the Oscars, and I saw a lot of comments saying she looked too normal or something stupid along those lines. People will never be happy with her whether she's dressed "normal" or dressed "crazy".

MTE, that's why the "she's over" comments are so dumb. If she was playing by the rules and releasing everything to be successful (basically a Katy Perry scenario) and flopping, then I would agree.
