Adele is regarded as the voice of her generation by the public (she's been away for awhile so it makes it look like she's not, but she technically is).
Being the voice of a generation isn't necessarily who has the best voice (though many could argue that Adele does), but more-so someone who speaks to their generation (and any generation for that matter).
It certainly isn't Lesion X with those tired runs. Her days of being the voice of a generation died after Beautiful's chart run. She's had no impact since and her vocals declined more than Whitney and Mariah combined. She cant tour because nobody wants to hear her VOICE singer her past "classics". Its amazing that at the end of your career you cant even be a nostalgia act. Her talent show abandoned her and now her "thing" is riding the coattails of other artists. Because somehow nobody in the GP wants to hear from the voice of a generation unless it says (featuring Christina Aguilera). If their ever was an award for being more successful from other people's lead she'd be a shoe-in. Voice of the Teen-Pop Generation tbh.
