Britney is gone, Beyonce is gone (hasn't had a hit in most of the world since 2009), Avril is gone, Nelly F is gone, Gwen is gone, my girl Shakira is on life support but at least she has her Latin markets, the rest will be gone soon too.
Only Katy and Miley will survive the next few years as rock, hip-hop, soul and RnB dominate.

There's still Taylor, Rihanna, the 2 you mentioned, Lorde [who's becoming quite big now, especially since she isn't being Carly Rae Jepsened] and maybe Lana if Ultraviolence does well. And Fergie if she comes back with the BEP.
Shakira has been gone from the US for a good 5 years, tbh. Same with Avril aside from the few months where WTH was doing well and Nelly and Gwen haven't been around and popular for like 6 years.
