His argument had no legs to stand on from the beginning. The conversation was never even about Lupita's history or her family, it was about her acting skills and her winning an award for acting. I can see if she was Drew Barrymore and won an Oscar for her first role, her family grew up in the business and one would maybe point a finger, but Lupita worked just as hard as any actress to get where she is.
