Trying is one thing, doing it is something else. ARTPOP is not ART. It's just bad. At least Katy still makes a few bops here and there. It must be hard to admit but Katy has been superior to Gaga musically for awhile now. Pretty much everyone has been musically superior to Gaga for the longest time now.
