The thread question wasn't if she's the most musically diverse female musician out there, it's is she the most musically diverse POP GIRL, and if you compare her to Katy or Gaga or whatever, she is. No one's denying that Pop is her main genre, that's why she's considered a pop girl in the first place.

The question was "Is Rihanna the Most Musically Diverse" artist. In my opinion I don't feel like 12 different forms of dance-pop, hip-hop hooks and being Barbadian when it's convenient makes an artist diverse.

I listed Janet Jackson as an artist who I find more diverse (and was actually able to find success in more than one genre).

Pink is an artist who was a successful R&B artist AND PERFORMER who became a successful rock and pop artist AND PERFORMER. (And no one calls Pink a "rock star" just to excuse her laziness... )

If any of you are capable are arguing against those points be my guest, but you're not and I get called "pressed" for responding to an open topic as if the same few of you don't sprint into every Beyoncé thread.

This is my third and last time saying this. If you are not willing or able to carry a topic don't start the topic.

You mean her accent....that's probably the only thing unique about her sound

And growing musically is not singing different kinds of songs with the same voice, growing musically is her being apart of the production of an album.....dabbling in songwriting....something other than singing songs she picked from a line up

I don't remember how Russian Roulette goes but I know it was not a risky song for her, and Stay wouldn't be risky for any artist....

The navy gives her way too much....just be happy that she can sing a little bit and is pretty sometimes

That's not saying much since NONE of the Pop girls DRASTICALLY switch from one genre to the next on every album except maybe P!nk. P!nk went from R&B to ROCK to Pop etc so if it's anybody I'd say she is.
