This debate has been going on the entire award season but Leo couldn't win against any competitor in any major award and McConaughey has established himself as a serious actor starting 2012 with Killer Joe. He has a new image and it won't hurt the Academy one bit.

I like Leo but he should have won for the Aviator and not the Wolf of Wallstreet. Even Chiwetel is more likely.
