Most of what was being said was inaccurate and when you try to tell people that what is being implied is wrong, they get offended

I was just saying that "withdrawing" an ambassador means that they are cutting ties with Russia, which is what the thread poster even admitted they thought was happening and what people commenting thought was happening. Recalling literally just means calling home to discuss how to move forward, which isn't what anyone thought. Those are two opposite things.

You took three pages to complain about a word no one else gave a second thought to. The only reason people thought Canada was cutting ties with Russia was because they assumed and didn't read the whole story. All you had to say was that Canada wasn't cutting ties with Russia instead of campaigning for a title change.
