They were oral traditions that some people eventually wrote down and decided to add into a book called the bible. It was a over a long period of time too.

Note: Jews don't use the new testament, Christian's don't really use the old testament (many say a new covenant was formed when Jesus came), and Muslims disregard the part about Jesus being God. So it's quite useless in a lot of ways except for condemning others and the occasional moral boost.

Satanism has a bad name, but in principle it's arguable that self-worship is more natural to humans than obedience. It's the classic debate over whether we are self-serving or selfless beings at our core. Are we born ''evil'' or born ''pure''? I believe even the Bible says something about original sin and that's why babies need to be baptized. How can an innocent baby be full of sin though?
