I remember when I was 15 I became really nihilistic and I started asking my family things like,
"Why are we here? We don't do anything. We go to our jobs to keep money in our pockets to pay for things we're gonna run out of.
Why? It makes no sense that a group of beings who consider themselves to be so superior should conform to such an embarrassing system.
How is what we're doing really contributing to anything?
What is our purpose?
What do we do besides waste energy and destroy things?"
