Glitter (both the movie and album) because the reviews were TERRIBLE. It wasn't because September 11 and anyone who remembers that era knows exactly why it flopped. Mariah can come up with as many excuses as she wants but she knows no one wanted.

Fine, but that was a ridiculous reason to cancel so many dates. It flopped cause it just wasn't a good film, and she knows that. She's says the only good thing was the soundtrack. Glitter has a million views on youtube btw so it is a sort of a cult classic (by her standards).

She never said it was fully because 9/11. She said it partly had a role, which it did. She never said it had a full role.

Last time I checked having your movie promoting it being taken out theaters, having to hault promotion the week of it's release, etc does play a part role.
