Nicki never intended to be a mainstream rapper and regardless of that, no rapper that is taken seriously is mainstream in this day and age.
I see Nicki sticking with rap, its on the upswing commercially anyway and she will ride that wave to Valhalla!
whats more impressive is that she made it on that "ghetto" label instead of one run "professionally" (what the **** are you even saying? like are you reading this **** lol)
I'm saying Nicki would not be able to be composed and patient if she was in Azealia or Iggy's situation. She's too hot headed to survive her album being being pushed back for years.
Young Money however is ran by people like her so they understand her and she works better that way.
Lol sorry but being only supported by the urban community is not mainstream. She's literally Miguel/Frank Ocean level now until I'm proven wrong.
Lol!
She's made more money in 2013 ($30M) (the year where she didn't release an album) then any other rapper who isn't Diddy, Dre, or Jay. So if that's the case then so be it. I don't need your validation. That's the beauty of her having appeal to both formats.
Why does Partition **** on everything JT and Timbaland released this year (except for Don't Hold The Wall Jesus and Church)? I kind of don't believe they were involved with this song at all. It's too good
i think we know who took them to the next level (true blood and drink you away are better than dont hold the wall doe)
being ghetto is not exclusive to black people, neither is being unprofessional. I don't know why you're getting so offended.
Christina Aguilera is ghetto and unprofessional and she's a white woman.

at u using church
And i dont think tim worked on partition(?)
Nicki is still very much culturally relevant. Someone mentioned her in my theatre class the other day. She also gets a lot of views on Youtube etc. But her sales are still kinda tragic.
