I don't understand why she dumped Fernando for DJWS. Fernando is like the superior, more polished version of DJWS

I think she just wanted to move on. DJWS probably connected with her and devoted more time with her than other producers. He seems to be along for the ride, but I have no doubts she will drop him more than likely after ARTPOP act II

I just don't like how ARTPOP often feels more like DJWS' project than it does Gaga's.

Like I said before, she needs to work with producers who will write and produce the song with her, not produce an instrumental and then give it to her to either a) work with, or b) use exactly the way it is and just write lyrics and place vocals over it. This style of producing does not work well for Gaga, imo.

You're right, I forgot about Aura being watered down too cause I've had the demo version on my phone since November

I still really like the album, and right now I'm just attributing the problems to her being in such a messy place last year. I'm confident whatever she does this year will be way better

this excuse continues to be used but have you given a thought to why those songs werent huge, maybe the noise behind them played a part

Agreed. The first two lines of the G.U.Y. bridge are literally the best part of the entire album.

I don't think she was only given instrumentals, I think it was a mix of both. He probably gave her stuff that he worked on, and she gave him melodies and lyrical ideas that she worked on. There's no way that they toured and were together for that long and he just made instrumentals while she wrote over them, I just don't believe that. But I do understand what you mean by "DJWS project"

pretty sure she did a Venus performance in Japan and it did nothing for Venus on the charts
