Columbia does her distribution...I think her career would go down the drain if she brought that much to Parkwood. Technically she is independent already. Her record contract was done after 4 IIRC. Now they just handle the outsourcing of her music/DVDs and other related material.

The only way she'd completely drop Columbia was if she only sold thru itunes and music shops and didnt need singles sent out. That too much work at the level she's at. Which is the main reason why independent artists aren't largely successful.
