I don't think Happy will get more than 5 weeks. Its gonna peak in sales either next week or the week after (following the Oscars performance) and by that time another song will be making huge gains. #1's can come out of nowhere. I never saw Royals or Wrecking Ball being number 1. The predictable (as in we see them coming weeks before) #1's like Dark Horse and Happy usually don't get huge weeks.

Not y'all underestimating Pharrell. Take a look at Blurred Lines, its sales progression last year. It's NOT gonna just suddenly drop in 5 weeks. Not with that airplay. All Of Me is the only song with a shot at knocking it off and that's if it outsells Happy by a wide margin.

That's his point. No black artists got #1, but there were R&B and hip hop songs that got to #1 last year, even if they were by white people.
