Reported gross only include ticket sales. They make shitloads of money out of many other things, just on the top of my mind: drinks and snacks sold at the venue or nearby, merchandise, VIP packages, etc. There is absolutely no way in which PH is only taking "little profit" out of it, the tour promoters/producers always get the most!
Also, the venue re-design, although made for Britney's concert, is something that belongs to Planet Hollywood, meaning the expenditure of 20m is not directly expected to return from Britney's shows, as the venue will stay there for years and hold many other shows and events.

Not true. In my high school plenty of girls love Britney. And nobody but fans even know of BJs existence much less its floppage. Shes lost her hot factor though. Work Bitch made her look so f-able but those candids do the exact opposite

Would ph make that much money from merchandise sold in her store? I'd think she'd get the most from the merchandise, and they'd get only a small percentage
Just my guess though

The $20M renovation is not just for Britney's show, tho. They can use it for many other shows or performers, so it's more of an expense for the hotel as a whole as opposed to just Britney's show.
Either way, they do probably make tons from people who come and stay in the hotel and foods, beverages, merchandise etc.
And Britney probably gets nothing from the merchandising. Her $$$ comes from performing and that's it. And perhaps some investments she's made.
I'm REALLY shocked they haven't had her make appearances at clubs and what not. I thought that would of been included in her contract.

1. How do those VIP M&G work? Who profits the most from those package? Are they counted to total gross?
2. The venue was re-signed to fit with Britney show only. It was reported to be designed to make everyone feel like they are in night club. I don't think it would fit with other performancers (since most of Vegas acts are older artists/legends). I think once Britney stops performing there, they will re-design it again.

She's been seen in her PJs - ok, that doesn't actually prove anything since she dresses like that when going around in LA as well - at a Starbucks inside Planet Hollywood Resort.
Also, Felicia told me Britney has her own "room" at the hotel, so I'd say she at least can spen the night there if she feels like.

I don't think the VIP packages (M&G, tables and center Front Row seats) are included in the gross. I've heard reports of shows where the VIP tables didn't sell out, to the point at one particular date Britney's father took some fans from the last row of the theatre and put them at the tables - So, considereing all dates are being reported as sold-out, those VIP tickets are most likely "extra".
As for merchandise... I thought it was obvious Britney gets the money for that?
