If I made a thread called.

"Sofia Vergara serving nipples ******* OUT OF HER TOP"

It would be reported and closed within the first 5 comments, yet when it's a guy it's not even reported half the time.

Some mods should actually give a reason as to why a topic is closed in the final comment, rather than use it as a chance to leave a shady comment and debut their ill-fated comedy career.

ATRL is messy for a lot of reasons, but an overwhelming amount of sexually explicit content is not one of those reasons and you were doing too much with that thread.

This is a website where the demographic consists mostly of gay males between the ages of 14 and 27. If your concern is a lack of threads about Sofia Vergara's nipples then my advice to you would be to find a different forum.

I'm not saying that there is no explicit content posted here. Every now and then there are some wild things posted and the moderating team does a good job at taking care of such things.

I know we're not supposed to continue discussions about closed threads in HQ,
which is why I made my last blog
but that's not the point of this post.

My point here is that there is no extreme amount of overtly sexual content that is changing the forum experience, and threads about "Zac Efron SERVING in tank top" do not challenge or invalidate that idea.

The mods clearly don't have a problem with things being inappropriate as long as their about men.


And a lot of the gays on this site are just plain vulgar.

Or it's possible there was just no mod online at the time and so it slipped through the cracks.

If anything I think the rule regarding explicit posts could be reworded because of how vague it is to those who are warned for it, but that's about it

I think the issue arises with how the rules are enforced


I feel like these new additions to the rules will just create a way for people to get 3 warning points for responding to a photo of an attractive man with song lyrics

It wasn't meant to be shady or funny. It was a direct criticism. My complaint was simple and visible in the post. It wasn't hidden anywhere. Mods don't give a reason as to why the post is closed. Just a last ditch attempt to be funny. Read. It's nice that some of you try to show your personalities though
