Here's some speculation.....the third single and her little video project will close out ARTPOP, they'll send the Britney collab to radio to keep her relevant and give her a summer smash while she's touring, and at the same time she'll start releasing songs through the app (June), and then Act II will come around September.

hmm that'd be a bit messy + she could be overexposed/run out of promo spots.

if she does GUY now, then rando Britney Collab for the summer, then lead single in June that'd be a bit too much..

unless you're implying that the Britney Collab IS the lead single, in which case that'd make a lot more sense

if the Britney Collab rumour is true + is set to drop in June, they should surprise release it. If it blows up, THEN announce that an album is coming. if it fizzles (large possibility), then write it off as a one-off single and then send out a real lead single in September with album dropping in Nov/Dec.

if the rumour is true I hope it's not a dance track with Britney.

Oricon doesn't count all the sales and neither do Billboard, Dutch music organisations etc, a lot of sales are not counted for charts, it's not that unthinkable. Some countries don't count digital or sold under a specific price etc, but they do count for general worldwide sales... I trust UMG reported figures instead of stans on the internet

Yeah, I was thinking Britney collab in June, lead single WITH the album in September. Or she may just let the Britney collab be an album track or just release it for the hell of it without making it a single, especially if she has something already planned for Act II.
