Carrying the conversation in the other thread over, I will destroy any of y'all with Mr. Game and Watch or Lucas. Sometimes I play as Peach, Zelda, or Samus when I feel like I should go easier on people.

You can kick ass as whoever you choose, as long as you're good at the game.
Of course you can kick ass with any character in the game if your opponents suck. I was talking about competitively in general. High skilled Zelda or Ganondorf players are no match for high skilled Olimar or Diddy Kong characters because how unbalanced SSBB is.

This is one reason why I'm so glad this new game will be balanced. It'll be a good balance character-wise and gameplay wise, since it will be the median of a competitive and casual player.

Emphesis on character balance especially since Sakurai won't be the only one balancing the game himself this time. This new Smash Bros. may just give Melee a run for it's title of being the best game in the series (competitively speaking of course).

If they were going to be putting any female from Fire Emblem in, it'd be Lucina from the most recent FE.

Nope, you can kick ass if you rock regardless of how your opponents are.
What would her final smash be? 
Plus they said they were trying to cut back on clone characters, so I don't see them bringing Mewtwo back tbh
