They released DS insted of I Forgive You which was a great decicion when it comes to quality of the music, but something went wrong with promotion. With the same amount of promo IFY would have gone top 20.

I think the Stronger era had much bigger potential but the singles kinda killed. MKIA was a fresh song for Kelly but it was a damn grower and it did pretty nice in the UK and Australia (where Kelly did some promo) but overall nothing special. Stronger saved the era but it killed Dark Side. I've never been a big fan of Dark Side, of course it is a good song of great quality but I've never really got into it, there's something about the song I don't like (although I still can't say what it is).

I don't know how I would handle Stronger era because the longevity of Stronger (WDKY) would probably destroy any of the songs that would follow it and on the other hand it probably wouldn't do that well with only one or two promo performances like Dark Side had. I guess I'd make Let Me Down (maybe Dark Side?) the first single, than Stronger and than probably I Forgive You, although I don't like the song because it's a generic trash.

Yeah, Stronger was that type of song that radio stations were not to stop playing, but so was Suck. And the stations were there for Hook Up from what I know.
What killed Stronger's era potential? Duets. I mean.. what has she done. Put all the effort to a TV show that was most likely not to be iconic instead of putting the effort to album that was still new and selling.

No seriously, what about, From the Ashes? I think it could be a conceptual album that starts off slightly darker and progresses to lighter and happier stuff from the middle onward.

I know she's probably going to stick with 100% happy stuff now, but I'm just not ready to let go of sad angry Kelly

For the single, I'd call it Let's Find Out. It would be pop/rock Kell at her best, and would be the first track on the happy section of the album. Super melodic and rhythmic, Let's Find Out is about still wanting to take a chance on love when everything before has been hurtful and disappointing. Brandon-inspired, naturally.

That sounds beautiful. I'd love for Kelly to make a concept album. My December was the closest she's ever gotten to making one and I love the whole idea behind it. I'd be on cloud nine

The note in Honestly isn't a whistle actually haha, its a G5. It has a ton of reverb and effect on it.
