I like it...I'm so over this "trap" stuff which rips off 90s underground dance itself.
I loved that she brought back the alternative pop so that Gotye, Lorde and others have a better shot but I kind of wished that it ended dance pop sooner. Dance pop is over now but it sure took too long.
Anyways, I'd love for Queen Adele to bring that classic old school sound and marry it to the current modern times.

I saw that sources supposedly claimed Sony wanted to have it out by fall 2014, if not sooner, too. I hope that's not true, though. If it is, I'm going to cry. I just need to know a general time. Like, year? Quarter? Season? Month? Day? Seriously, if they don't hurry the f**k up I'm going to die of depression and thirstiness!

Ew, that's too late.
She needs to come with a summer album

I do seriously think Adele is up to something now. Why would they bother updating a website that hasn't been used by her in months for anything, really? She hasn't posted on it since June 2012 when she confirmed her pregnancy. Something has to be on the way. I mean... Three times in under 24 hours? Plus, this comes with the whole "imminent" album rumor, which I do think has some credibility because of who it's coming from. I'm really excited! 25 is coming!

I hope you are right.

Also apparently the Sun article states that she's still working with James Ford and Kid Harpoon for the new album too.
I guess that story last year about her going back into the studio and the album being due for mid-2014 was true. I thought it was bs at first.

There are no doubts that Adele will be the album artist of the decade, both in the US and WW. It all really depends on the lead single as to how well the album does. If it's good (I can't see it not being) and the GP connect with it then I can see it doing at least half of 21's sales. If it doesn't connect that well with the GP then ofc. there will be initial buzz and huge sales but nothing for longevity that SLY, SFFTR and (to an extent) RITD did for 21.
A grammy win, or two, or more, will help solidify phenomenal sales.

This is a good time to release. NOt that she has competition but most of the females have been parted by the end of last year. She could be the first major pop artist to release in 2014 but I have a feeling Taylor, Rihanna and Nicki might before her.
Either way, it's been since spring of 2011 since she's released. May/June 2014 please.
