Oh it's definitely coming for AIWFCIY's spot. I'd give it half a decade at most before it overtakes her Christmas classic in physical sales.
Belting and whistling certainly seems out of place in popular music this decade. Mariah is truly wise for investing in her future while at the peak of her career.
And Mr. Ross' verse was pure ingenuity. The Haydn interpolation in contrast with Mariah's Romantic composition was near insanity, but it worked. And it certainly paid off.
