Ugh, I was up and ready waiting for this last night. Then I had to get distracted and pass out before I even got to see the first elimination

Let me do a quick catchup!
dddd; the 1s

I knew
Jewels ‘n’ Drugs would be one of the first dragged. I guess people will never be here for trap Gaga

I still gets downE to it though

(And to think when I first heard this, I thought this could be an urban hit if released there on radio

)
This Moment is cute… kinda basic and forgettable, but it eventually grew on me

..Oh well, not a big loss

Katy, ha metaphors
I love you
Love Me
Although I’m not as obsessed with it as I used to be, it was one of my intial faves from PRISM. I still wanted it to do somewhat well…
Not
It Should Slay Easy
Y’all do too much on this track! I’ve always imagined Britney being some kind of sexy robot serving those godly vocoder vocals with will.i.am in space for the music video. It would have slayed

And that synth line is heavenly

Possibly the single catchiest moment on Britney Jean alone!
Hold on Tight is good.
The Dreaming Mix of Perfume is
almost better than the original, but it's a remix so no one cares.
Love Money Party is a bop. Not really bothered by any of their exits. They’re all mid-pack in terms of the songs in this rate
Hands in the Air and
On My Own should’ve been the first two out. One down, one more to go
International Smile is a BOP. I don’t know why people can’t let the cringy lyrics go and just bop to this infectious pop candy

The perfect type of song to sing loudly while cruising down the highway
Swine is great! Definitely underrated because it treads more to the better half of ARTPOP rather than the worst. That beat build-up before the chorus then the subsequent breakdown is everything

I kinda love the lyrics too although they’re a little out there

…
My Darlin’ is good! Once I got used to Future’s
vocals, I realized it was actually a really beautiful duet between them. It’s like Future and Miley made a smooth, bumpin’ R&B-pop remix of Ben E. King’s original
Choose Your Battles is probably the best ballad on PRISM!

Although it is the last song of an almost snoozeworthy second half of an album
(although I grew to love it
), so I can understand why it was kinda overlooked… The lyrics are great though, Katy sounds amazing, and those “If you wanna go, then go…. If you wanna stay, then stay” adlibs during the final chorus through the end of the song are so killer! One of the most memorable moments on PRISM
Body Ache (although I like it now) deserves to have been one of the first tracks out from Britney Jean. The generic 2008 dance-pop beat, the terrible vocal editing, the anti-climatic vibe of the whole song

I’m almost insulted that this unfinished demo made the album over some of the BJ bonus tracks

That keyboard chorus hook is the only redeemable quality of this song
WoOo.. That took awhile
Chillin’ with You still slaying
Donatella betta slé too
