I kind of agree with this part. I was about to post that we already have a reputation system embedded in us. But still I think it would be nice to make it more evident.

Hi. I'm a user in another forum that uses vBulletin and in this forum there's a feature called "Thanks", where you thank the posts that you find more useful. The more a user is thanked, the more he is ranked as popular.
I think it could be a good feature to bring on ATRL cause then smart shade-filled posts would be more recognized. And people like ToySoldier would care more about the content of their posts rather about the quantity of them.
Can a mod check out with Kworb or Anthens or another mods if it's a possiblity? Thank you.
