It was a discussion point. The framework was not to bash but to create a forum of discussion which is why I said "keep it cute and discuss". You can throw up a week-long #2 spot all day but everyone knows that had it not been for the Grammy performance and streaming it would not have charted that high... and even then it only stayed there for a week. DIL is not a SL or CIL sized hit i.e. could become a signature song and last her for years in terms of impact. Fact.

"Messy" is not simply posing a question and creating a debate. No other artist that is discussed on this forum is as exempt to criticism as Beyonce seems to be. There's not a need for yet another post on how her tour is doing or how well the album is charting when it has been acknowledged countless times that had she gone the traditional release route this would probably be a different conversation altogether.

There's a difference between acknowledging all of the facts available and using deductive and conditional reasoning in order to have a meaningful discussion as opposed to leaving all of that out and just straight-up only talking about the facts that consistently paint someone in a positive light.
