KB.'s Commentary:
lawmak: Baby! You honestly made me almost cry. This was such a genuine and transparent cover and I loved it. I always love how you take a song and make it your own. Your vocals add a completely different dimension to the original lyrics and I loved it. I'm seeing so many sides of you and I'm excited to see what you pull out of your ass next
Karma Chameleon: So I'm a huge fan of you and your tone and I'm also a huge fan of Rihanna. We Found Love is one of my favorite songs of the past decade and I was excited to saw that you were covering it. With that being said, I
loved it! I've always said there's something rather haunting about the song and, with your tone, you really painted that vocally.
BLaCKPoWeR: Clark, you know I have a soft spot for you. "Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know" if one of Britney's best songs and I liked what you did with it. I love the fact that you showcased your range towards the end. That shows me that you are coming out of your shell a bit. Now, next week, I would like to see you HAVE FUN. You have great covers, but you always seem so serious in them. Let loose even more. It's okay.
HowToLove: So I'm just going to be honest and say I'm not the biggest Katy Perry fan... like at all. I can't take her seriously... But that calls for a completely different conversation. I honestly did like your cover better than the original. A self-empowerment anthem such as "Roar" needs to have an attitude about it that makes the lyrics more believable. The tone in your voice, as you sang, really made me feel as if you felt empowered as you sang it. I loved it.
feelslikeadream:
This is like the only Katy Perry song I slightly listen to. I'm glad you took my advice and did something different this week. You deliver great acoustic vocals and you are a really talented guitarist, but this was a nice side to see of you. I'm not throwing anymore Katy Perry shade so I'll just say..... You did really good. I wish you would've uploaded on YouTube though so I could've saw your cute face and smile as I pictured you singing this to me
Nait Phoenix: So... I guess it wouldn't be a damn singing competition if no one covered Beyonce's "Listen". You're brave because I personally feel like it's one of those songs that you're either going to deliver or you're going to fall flat on. With that being said, I don't felt like it fit your voice because you have such a unique tone; however, it was still really good in that you showed your range, confidence, and owned it to the best of your ability and made it adapt to your tone. So on one hand it didn't fit your voice, but on the other hand you adapted the song to make it fit your voice which is always a plus. I hope that isn't confusing

. Good job.
Clarksonator: We've had a couple of people deliver mash-ups so far, but yours is the only one that's actually kind of worked. It was different. I love both "Someone Like You" and "My Life Would Suck Without You". They actually flowed really well together. It also took a lot of guts to tackle to vocal powerhouses in Adele and Kelly C in one song and still managed to put your own style on it. It was very.... dynamic?
