Tasteless. I'll leave you your opinion on Vancouver seeing as it seems you live there, but Toronto is brilliant. Clean, busy but spacious, green and perched on the edge of a lake. I think I was a mermaid in my past life. I love being around the water...
Living in SF is quite nice, regardless of the pices
Me and my roommate both pay like 1150$ a month for our rent. Now that I pay for everything else myself, my parents don't have an issue with paying that much anymore.
Aww don't diss Van! It does rain too much here but the natural beauty is seriously unmatched. After living in Boston I would never move to the east coast either.
It's hard to appreciate the natural beauty when you're holding an umbrella 24/7.
I also have to dodge cars purposely driving over deep puddles trying to splash me-- and yes, on purpose because who drives close to the curb?

That's the time people just start coming.
