It was a cute performance. Very good. If it hadn't been hyped thee would be no letdowns. But somehow this was overly hyped, even with Gaga only mentioning it once.

Mess at people complaining about her performing ARTPOP Jimmy Fallon is NOT her demographic, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

She probably saw it as a potentially symbolic performance for her if she really is restarting the era or whatever and now we have an amazing performance of one of the album's standout songs.
