Why were the Dark Horse and Unconditionally threads closed?
Dark Horse because of all the drama today, Unconditionally probably just because it's old and Katy is on her third single now. I believe the Appplause and Roar threads were both locked once their respective second singles were underway

I kii whenever Lee bolds his replies in an attempt to bring his foot down. If they didn't listen the first time, what makes you think they will the 2nd, 3rd, etc. Just hand out the bans and call it a day
Because that thread is and has always been an off topic disaster, just like ALL bases whenever the artist isn't actually DOING ANYTHING.
Bases should be permanently removed, and we should go back to the old album threads. At least the discussion won't be split, and we can keep music polls in the lounge again like they used to be
Basically this. The base thread idea was such an incredibly faulty one and has led to numerous problems. The format atrl had before with the album threads was much more effective.
