Every artist attached to a record label goes through the same situation tho.
Have never seen this being an issue w/ other big recording acts. The only people I've seen complaining are artists with not so big followings. Once you reach a certain point of superstardom I (thought) you had power over what singles you wanted to release and what not. Especially someone on Gaga's level.
She should transfer to another label like Capitol or Columbia.
Capitol and Columbia are among the best labels when it comes to being organized tbch...
Just look at Katy Perry (Capitol) and Beyonce (Columbia.. at least I think she's with them)

That's the case with normal artists that know what is and what isn't a hit. Not someone fighting for Dope and Venus.
Of course the label won't let her take the decision.
That would be better than Manicure or Venus
