What's up with the plus/minus threads getting closed? The hosts should have opened plus/minus games with votings of
+1 / -2 per user. That way games wouldn't have lasted so long. I actually wanted to open one using those voting rules but I assume it is not allowed to create them?

It definitely makes sense. After 70% of the choices get eliminated, it's just a race to see who the biggest post-***** of that thread is. As I was saying, perhaps a +1/-2 or +1/-3 voting rule from the beginning would work out better, that way there is no 'infinite' number of posts a plus/minus thread can have. The game has a very simplistic idea which I really like, but it needs some rule adjustments.
