UGH you make me so mad. Do you not realize this is the same backwards logic that bigots use against gay marriage and the such.
The SANCTITY of marriage must be protected and gay marriage cannot be allowed as it will infringe upon my beliefs that heterosexual marriage is the only marriage for me. In reality, making gay marriage legal will not affect heterosexual couples AT ALL. You will not be forced to participate in a homosexual union. None of your rights are being taken away. No one is saying that you can't continue in your eventual plan of heterosexual marriage and live a happy life without ever having to be affected by day marriage.
That boy IS a biological boy and he must be raised as such because that is what is NORMAL and RIGHT and will infringe upon his ability to choose his gender. In reality, letting the boy choose to identify whichever way he wants does NOT mean that he is not allowed to follow the typical societal standards for a boy. No one is forcing him to do anything. By telling this boy that he has to "act" like a boy you are forcing him to be a certain way and it's narrow-minded people like you that perpetuate this gender-normative society that makes it hard for people that don't fall into the two extremes to be happy. And society isn't always right so don't even argue that. Perpetuation of this culture is what leads to a multitude of problems that typically stem from sexism. (this is all in relations to American/Anglo-Saxon cultures, as I don't know how other cultures view gender and whatever)
