Yeah what did she say Telephone was? Fear of Suffocation? Okay Gaga
Yes I kinda took it though as suffocation as in like, wanting to go out and have fun, but being scared of having things like work and responsibilities stress her out and keep her from being able to.
i'm so beyond excited for the ArtRave it's going to be like a real rave with everyone dancing so hard..I can already picture all the lights.. and the interludes gah I can't wait. my first time seeing her live too.
unless I manage to get cheap tickets to Roseland, then that'll be my first time

raves usually dont have a 30 - 45 minute session were the host decides to recall their past and play the victim
I think The Fame, The Fame Monster, and Born This Way were all perfectly executed in terms of having an overall encompassing theme and sticking to it with the music and marketing. ARTPOP has an overall theme of love, but they've marketed it as the whole "putting art in pop culture" thing which is cool, but it doesn't fit the music at all. The songs really aren't about that.
It would have been cool if she stuck with the Greek mythology imagery and named the album Venus or Eros.
I agree! An album called "Art pop" would have to be an album full of "Bad Romance" sized bops to live up to its name.
