As a race, most ethnically Jewish people aren't quite "white," they're closer to Middle Eastern, but even if you do consider them white, white people were not categorically discriminated against during the Holocaust. Just that specific subset.
And, really, the only people doing the discriminating during the Holocaust were white people.
White history month would be full of Genocide, atrocities, rape and exploitation. We should have white history month to teach people the real truth. Not that fake watered-down **** in the history books.

There should be a month or so dedicated to minorities in general. But I think it's an issue that schools don't even celebrate Black History Month anymore. For me at least, my school hasn't even mentioned Black History Month since I was in........third grade, and I'm in tenth grade right now. Schools need to reinforce this, and people in general

on the other hand, though, the U.S. is pretty good with admitting problems. Places like Japan and Germany don't even admit to the extent of their atrocities in WWII (or at least avoided it for a LONG time), but the U.S. is owning up to slavery, killing Native Americans, etc.

right, the europeans during the enlightenment did create the concept of race, but i'm just trying to make the point that race wasn't always the basis of dominance over other people
Who denies that though doesn't make it reight. We can't have all these promotions or sayings about this country being a melting pot and only acknowledge ONE side of the history. When blacks were just as important to building this nation

And plenty of people acknowledge the current and everyday contributions of black entertainers, athletes and our current black president. The fact that they didn't exist two hundred years ago, doesn't mean history must bend to celebrate people that are not traditionally celebrated anyways (the poor, the enslaved, the conquered, etc)

Poland-ers (?) were the biggest mass of people to be killed in the holocaust, they are mostly white now-a-days so back then they were probably even more white.
Black History, Native American History and other months dedicated to minorities are only truly celebrated by those of that race anyway, and in most cases, it's not a big celebration - just a month to commemorate the achievements of those important folks and unsung individuals that go overlooked elsewhere. I don't know why white people always feel like it's much more than that and want to take it away from minorities. Why does it bother them for people to celebrate their cultures in their circles? It's stupid. The entitlement thing is so weird to me.
