Exactly. Her entire shtick is that she appropriates all these themes by using buzzwords and name-dropping in her songs (a Koons tea) with no actual substance to back it up. Tropico was a travesty. The video BoBwonder uploaded is one of the most awkward and disastrous performances I've ever seen.

it's because there's lower standards for Rihanna

ARTPOP is doing only slightly worse than unapologetic and gaga is labeled a flop while Rihanna's album is "successful"

Gaga's most memorable performance would most likely be the 2011 Grammy's with the vessel. More people however would remember Miley & Robin Thicke at the VMAs although that was much more recent
